TIME TO #VOTE!!!!

So in the summer of 2015 we embarked on our first official project as Deelen with Trouble. A PSA for ACTRA Toronto's YEAA (Young Emerging Artists Assembly) committee.

The goal: to encourage a younger demographic to get out and vote. To convince young Canadians that #VotingIsSexy. Clara Pasieka had written a fun and clever concept along with Jonathan Dubsky called "Boy Meets Girl" and we were really excited to jump on board to produce it for them.

We teamed up with our incredible producing partners at The Mind Refinery and were able to shoot it in one day at The Duke of Gloucester in downtown Toronto. Featuring 16 ACTRA members all under the age of 30, this dynamic (under a minute) PSA with an important message was our baby. And we are SO proud of it. The production values were incredibly high (aka it looks AMAZING) the talent was exceptional and surprise, surprise we did it under budget!

FAST FORWARD to now! A year and a bit later and in the throws of one of the craziest Presidential elections of all time (and let's be honest, a much more televised, exciting production compared to our Canadian equivalent).

On a whim, we submitted this piece to an on-line film festival called 60 seconds to impact and low and behold we made it into the finals of the competition!!!

Today is the LAST DAY to pick your favourite 60 second video. You get to choose which inspires you to want to get out and VOTE!

Check out the LINK HERE and please remember that #VotingIs Sexy!!!

A special shoutout to all of the incredible people in front of and behind the camera, please be sure to check them out and give them a follow
